1 – Stone & Living
Stone & Living is the owner of Trademarks « Ma villa en Provence » and manages the website « mavillaenprovence.com ». Stone & Living holds a professional real estate agent’s license to carry out transactions and rental property management. This card was issued by the CCI of Lyon under number n° CPI 69012017000018390. Stone & Living has subscribed to a financial guarantee of € 110,000 with AXA France and is also covered by a professional liability insurance policy.
Stone & Living is mandated by owners to market and manage the villas on this website.
2 – Description
All information concerning the description of the villas and furnishings is given in good faith based on the data given by our team on site. Tourist, sporting, cultural or service information, resulting from information provided by tourist offices etc. are given as information only and can not therefore incur the responsibility of Stone & Living.
3 – Bookings
Any booking to be effective must be accompanied by a down payment equal to 50% of the rental price and reservation fees. The “à la carte” services as well as the occupancy taxes are payable on the balance of the rental, which will be asked 42 days before the stay.
You have two possibilities to book a villa with us:
1 / Online reservation via the secure PAYPAL interface. Your reservation is confirmed immediately by email.
2 / Reservation and payment by bank transfer, you have 48 hours to make your bank transfer. After this date, if your payment is not received, your reservation is cancelled.
A holiday rental contract will be sent to you by email accompanied by a description of the rented premises and a state of natural and technological risks. This contract and its appendices are to be initialled, dated and signed and then returned to Stone & Living within 3 days.
42 days prior to the start of the rental, you will have to pay the balance of the amount of the stay as well as the “à la carte services” (if booked), the occupancy taxes and pay the security deposit. On receipt of the balance, you will receive your welcome pack with all the information about your rental.
In case of late booking, less than 42 days before arrival, the total amount of the stay will be claimed at the time of booking. In the event of unpaid balance within 42 days of arrival, Stone & Living reserves the right to treat your reservation as cancelled and to apply the cancellation conditions provided for this purpose and defined below.
4 – Price
Our prices are inclusive of all taxes, charges (water, electricity, heating, garden maintenance and swimming pool) with the exception of the occupancy tax and reservationfees. The final cleaning is included in the rental price. However, we ask you to leave the dishes clean (all our villas have a dishwasher), empty the refrigerator and empty the garbage.
A la carte services: our rental rates do not include “à la carte services” offered on our website and/or on site.
In the event of an increase in VAT, Stone & Living reserves the right to apply this increase to rates without notice and to the application of the new rate.
5 – Modification / cancellation of stay and related services by the client
In case of cancellation or modification, you must notify us in writing either by email via the contact form in our website or by mail at the above address:

Any change of date of stay will be considered as cancellation and will be subject to the cancellation fees mentioned below.
- Cancellation more than 42 days before the beginning of your stay, we retain 25% of the amount of the stay.
- Cancellation between 42 days and 30 days, we retain 50% of the amount of the stay.
- Cancellation less than 30 days before the start of the stay, we retain 100% of the amount of the stay, including the à la carte services.
If you do not show up, we retain 100% of the total amount of the stay including any Premium services booked.
Reservation fees are non-refundable. You can of course contract out a cancellation insurance policy. Ask us for more details.
6 – Arrival and departure
The rental starts from 4.00 PM the day of your arrival and ends at the latest at 10.00 am the day of your departure. In case of arrival after 8 pm, you must inform our teams by telephone in order to arrange for an appointment. The rental period can not exceed 90 consecutive nights.
The rental contract can not be extended without the prior written consent of Stone & Living. The rental agreement shall cease to be in force at the expiry of the fixed term, without the need to give notice to quit. If the tenant decides to leave the premises before the scheduled date, he will not be entitled to any reimbursement for the remaining period, both for the accommodation and for the unused ordered services.
7 – Security Deposit
A deposit must be paid before arrival, the amount is mentioned in the description of each villa. This deposit is settled either by credit card, by bank transfer or bank cheque (only in euro from a French bank).
This deposit is refunded within 8 days from the end of the stay, minus the allowances retained for any damage caused (due to the contradictory inventory between your arrival day and your departure day). If the deposit is insufficient, the tenant agrees to improve the amount.
8 – Capacity
Each villa has a maximum occupancy determined by the bedding available. In no case will this capacity be exceeded. In the event of more guest turning up, our reception staff may refuse entry to the additional persons. If additional persons enter the villa without the knowledge of the reception staff, an indemnity of 20% per person (adult or child) will be payable by the tenant.
9 – Rules of Procedure
In order to facilitate the life of your holiday, a set of rules is at your disposal in each villa; We thank you for reading and respecting them.
10 – Swimming pools
The swimming pools of our villas are all equipped with a safety system in compliance with the norms in force. A leaflet is kept at the disposal of the tenant.
11 – Jurisdiction
In case of a dispute, the competent jurisdiction will be Lyon’s court.
